Being over here in Satpur at the MIDC area, things are always a bit loud and dusty, but that’s just how industrial life is. Kohok Auto Pvt. Ltd. is based at F-29, and if you know this part of town, you know it’s where all the real manufacturing happens. We’ve been focusing on auto components for a long time. It’s hard work, standing on the floor and making sure the machines are running right. Sometimes they break down, and we spend half the day getting them back up, which is frustrating but part of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make parts that actually fit and do what they’re supposed to. The guys in the shop have been here for ages. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. Satpur can get really hot in the summer, and the shed gets stuffy, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just walk in and find someone in overalls. We deal with a lot of different orders, some big and some tiny. It doesn't matter much to us as long as the work is steady. We just take it day by day, making sure the shipments go out on time from our gate at F-29. It’s a simple life, mostly grease and metal.
