Our place is over in the MIDC area of Ambad, specifically at M-112. If you know Nashik, you know this part of town is all about factories and workshops. It gets quite dusty around here with all the trucks moving in and out of the industrial estate. We spend most of our hours on the shop floor dealing with the machines. It’s a metal-heavy environment so there is always that smell of oil and iron in the air. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that because most of our space is taken up by the equipment and the raw materials we need for production. The staff here has been around for a long time and we all just kind of know the routine by heart now. Lunch is usually spent sitting on whatever stools we can find, talking about the news or the weather. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life in an industrial zone. We handle a lot of different parts and pieces every day. It’s repetitive work sometimes but it requires a lot of attention so nobody gets hurt. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though things usually get messy by Friday. It’s just a straightforward operation running out of a standard block in Ambad.
