Jagar Dindi Foundation

Our foundation is located at Block 13 A26 in the Shamik Society. It is part of Unit 5 on Gangapur Road. It is a nice enough spot, though finding the right block can be a bit tricky if you are visiting for the first time. The Jagar Dindi Foundation is really just a small group of us working out of this residential society. It feels more like a home than an office, to be honest. We have some plants on the balcony and the neighbors are always walking their dogs past the door. Gangapur Road has changed a lot over the years, getting busier and having more shops pop up, but our little corner in Shamik Society stays mostly the same. We aren't some big organization with fancy logos. We just have our names on the door and a few files on the shelves. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who come by the unit. We don't put on airs or pretend to be more than we are. If someone needs help, we see what we can do with what we have. It is very grassroots. We don't have a website with professional photos, just us in our regular clothes doing the work. It is practical and a bit messy sometimes, but it is real. We like the community vibe of being in a society like this. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we started this.
