We operate out of Vaikunth Apartment, specifically unit number 6, located in Bhausaheb Hire Nagar. This is right along the Nashik Pune Road, so the traffic noise is a constant backdrop to our day. Being on a major road makes it easy for us to get around, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The apartment itself is nothing fancy. It is a standard residential-style building where we have set up our office. We have several shelves filled with parts and catalogs. The light isn't great in the back room, so we use some extra lamps. We've got a small kettle for making tea and we usually keep some biscuits in a tin. Our team is small, just a few people who have been working together for years. We don't bother with uniforms or formal meetings. Usually, we just talk over the desks about what needs to be shipped out or fixed. The walls are a plain off-white and have a few scuff marks from moving boxes around. It feels very much like a working space, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It is honest work and we do it in a place that feels familiar and lived-in. When the day ends, we just lock the gate and head home. We usually check the mail on the way out of the building.
