Graphhite India Ltd. Satpur, Nashik

This branch of Graphite India Ltd. is located over in Nashik. The office we use is in the Upnagar area, specifically in the Dream Heritage B building. It’s apartment 19. While the main industrial work happens near Satpur, this is where we handle a lot of the local coordination and paperwork. Nashik has grown a lot, but this area still feels a bit more relaxed than the main industrial zones. We have been here for a good while. The office is simple. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a very old coffee machine that makes a lot of noise. We deal with graphite products which is a very specific field. It’s not something everyone understands right away. Most of our day is spent talking to the plant or checking on shipments heading out to other parts of Maharashtra. The Pin code is 422006, in case anyone is sending us mail. We get a lot of mail. Sometimes the building elevator is out of order, so we have to take the stairs, which isn’t great when you’re carrying heavy files. We are just a small team of local people. We know the local vendors and the tea stall guy around the corner. It’s a regular job for us. We show up, do the work, and make sure the logs are updated. There’s nothing fancy about it. We often eat our lunch together while discussing the local news or the weather. The rainy season in Nashik can be quite something, and we have to make sure the windows are shut tight. We just get on with it.
