Our place is at C-23 in the Midc Area of Ambad. If you’ve spent any time in industrial zones, you know exactly what it’s like. Lots of trucks, grey buildings, and the sound of industry everywhere. At Gradewell Casting Pvt. Ltd., we focus on exactly what the name says. We do castings. It involves a lot of sand, molds, and molten metal. It is hard work and the floor is usually covered in bits of grit, but we just try to get the shapes right. We started out small and just kept at it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to do the jobs that come our way properly. The office is small and right at the front, mostly used for invoices and coffee. Most of the real action is in the back where the heat is. We have a group of guys who have been with us through plenty of long shifts. Ambad is a busy area and being in the Midc means we are surrounded by other folks doing similar heavy work. We share the road with a dozen other shops. It’s a bit gritty and the sun beats down on the metal roof in the summer, making it feel like an oven inside. We just drink plenty of water and keep the pours going until everything is cooled off and ready. It isn't always pretty, but it is real work.
