Gradewell Casting Private Limited

You can find us over at C-23 in the M.I.D.C area of Ambad. This part of town is full of factories and workshops, and we fit right in. Gradewell Casting Private Limited is basically a place where we melt metal and pour it into shapes. It is hot work, there is no way around that. The furnaces are the heart of the shop, and they stay going for long stretches. We all wear our heavy gear even when it is stifling because you have to be careful with molten metal. The floor is mostly sand and iron scraps. It is not the cleanest environment, but it is a foundry, so that is expected. We have got a rhythm to the day, from preparing the moulds to the actual pouring. Everyone knows their job and we do not need much talking to get things done. We have been in Ambad for a while now, and we have seen shops come and go. Our building is a bit worn on the outside, but the equipment inside is what matters to us. We handle a lot of different orders, some small and some quite large. When the workday ends, we are usually covered in soot and tired, but it is a good kind of tired. There isn't any corporate polish here. Just a bunch of workers doing a tough job every day. We usually grab a tea at the corner shop before heading home. That is about it for our daily routine.
