We are located at 4, Pushpak Apartment in Abhiyanta Nagar. This is in the Kamathwade area of Nashik. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s quite peaceful most of the time. The office is inside an apartment building, which makes it feel more like a home than a government department. We work for the Government of Maharashtra from here. Nashik has that nice, cool air in the mornings, which makes getting to the office at Abhiyanta Nagar quite pleasant. We don't have a lot of space, so files are stacked up on almost every available surface, including the windowsills. We handle local coordination and engineering-related paperwork mostly, given the name of the colony. There are only a few of us here. We share a small kitchenette and take our tea breaks together. Most of the people who come to see us are from the local area or contractors working on nearby infrastructure projects. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit squeaky, but it gets the job done. We don't bother with anything fancy or corporate. It’s just about keeping the registers updated and making sure the files get sent to the main headquarters when they are ready. Life in Nashik is steady, and our office reflects that. We just show up, do our bit for the state, and lock up the apartment at the end of the day. It’s a simple existence but it keeps things moving.
