We’ve been here at Varajraj Appartment on Pathardi Road for a while now. Most people know the Vinay Nagar area because it’s a decent spot to live and the bus stop is right across from us. Having the office here at No 4 is handy because it’s easy for folks to find when they’re walking over from the Vinay Nagar Bus Stop. Sometimes the road gets a bit noisy with all the traffic heading towards the main parts of Nashik, but we’re used to it. We mostly spend our days handling bookings and talking to people who want to go somewhere for a few days. It’s not a huge setup, just a regular space where we keep our registers and talk on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, like anywhere else in the city, but we manage. People drop in mostly because they live nearby or they saw the sign while waiting for their bus. We don’t do anything fancy here, just run the travel desk and keep things moving. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, and the desk is always cluttered with paper, but it’s how we work. Being in this part of Nashik - 422006 means we see the same faces every morning. It feels like a neighborhood spot rather than some big corporate office. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings.
