At Desai Constructions Pvt Ltd., we are located in Varkheda, which is part of the Dindori taluka in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. This area is famous for its vineyards, so our construction work often happens around the farms and the open countryside. Our office in Varkheda is a simple setup, 422205, where we keep our project logs and meet with the local guys. It’s a bit of a drive from Nashik city, but we like being out here where there’s more space and fresh air, even if it gets a bit muddy during the monsoon season. The rain here can be quite heavy, so we have to plan our building schedules carefully around the weather. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves and don't rely on big fancy machines for every little thing. Most of our crew comes from the local villages, so there’s a real sense of community in the way we work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Maharashtra; we just want to do a decent job on the projects we take on. You’ll often find us at a site early in the morning before the sun gets too warm. We deal with a lot of brickwork and concrete, and there’s always a layer of dust on everything in the office. It’s a busy life, but it’s honest work, and we’re glad to be part of the growth happening around Dindori. We just take things one day at a time.
