Deepkimaya Foundation

Aurangabad has many quiet corners, and the Deepkimaya Foundation is in one of them. Near the stadium, you can find our office in the CIDCO area. Operating out of an MIG house, specifically B-82-01, makes everything feel a bit more personal. This is part of Ganpat Pandharinath Bhokaren-2. No receptionist or big lobby is here. You just walk in and we are there in the main room working on whatever tasks are on the list for that day. Residential areas are quiet mostly, though it gets a lot busier when there is a cricket match at the stadium nearby. Community work varies from day to day. It might be helping someone with their official paperwork or just organizing a small local gathering for the neighbors on the weekend. Tea is always on the stove for whoever drops by. Sitting at the dining table to discuss our plans is how we usually work. The CIDCO area is a good place to be because it is well-connected and we have lived here for many years. Neighbors know us well. People know they can just drop by the house if they need some help with something. We do not have big slogans or fancy office furniture. We just do the work as it comes to us. It is a very practical, home-grown setup. Being part of the local community is the most important thing to us.
