Danwantri Clinic

Our clinic, Danwantri Clinic, is located out in Mandwad Village, over in Nandgaon. It’s a small place, mostly serving the folks who live right here in the village or the nearby farms. We don’t have much in the way of big signs or bright lights to show the way. Most people just know where we are because they’ve lived here their whole lives. It gets pretty dusty out here during the dry season, so we’re always sweeping the floors to keep the dust down. The building is simple, just enough room for a small waiting area and the consultation space. We see a lot of different things, from common fevers to minor injuries from field work. Life in Mandwad is slow, and we try to match that pace as best as we can. We aren't in a rush, we take the time to talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we run out of certain supplies and have to wait for the delivery from the city to arrive, but we manage. If you're coming from the main road, just look for the cluster of houses near the center of the village. It’s a quiet spot for a clinic. We keep the doors open through the day, though we might step out for a bit at lunch if it’s quiet. It’s a local operation, run by people who live nearby. We don’t need anything fancy to do our jobs well for the community.
