We are based out of Flat No 8A in the Neel Nandini Chs Ltd building, which is part of the Gandharva Nagari society. It’s on the second floor, so we get a bit of exercise coming up the stairs every morning. Being off Jail Road on Nasik Road in the 422101 area makes it easy enough for people to find us. Our office is what you’d expect for accountants. There are piles of folders, calculators everywhere, and a lot of pens that seem to run out of ink at the wrong time. We spend most of our time looking at numbers and making sure all the boxes are checked. It’s quiet work, except for the sound of the keyboard and the occasional phone call. We’ve been here in Nasik for a long time now. During tax season, we basically live here, eating our meals at our desks and staying late into the night. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a photo or two. It’s a serious place because the work is serious, but we still joke around when we have our tea breaks. People come to us when they’re worried about their money or their business filings. We just sit down, go through the papers, and try to get everything sorted out for them. It’s not flashy, but it’s what we’ve always done here at Neel Nandini.
