Chhatrapati Clinic

We’ve been here at Chhatrapati Clinic for a good while now, right in the Pimpalgaon High School Complex in Adgaon. It’s a busy spot especially when the school bells ring and all the kids are running around outside. Most days start pretty early because that’s when people like to drop by before they head off to work or the fields. The Adgaon area has changed quite a bit since we first opened the doors, but the clinic stays much the same. We have a few rooms where we see people, and the benches in the waiting area have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s not a fancy place with shiny floors or anything like that. We just focus on what needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we just keep going. The staff here mostly grew up around these parts, so we know most of the families by their first names. It’s common to see a neighbor pop their head in just to say hello or ask a quick question about a fever. We handle a lot of small stuff day in and day out. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until the sun goes down. People know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t spend much time on paperwork or big meetings; we just try to be useful to the folks living around Adgaon.
