Atharva Eye Hospital

Atharva Eye Hospital is situated at No. 2, right opposite the Old CBS. We are in the Nirman Inspire building in the Kanherewadi area. It’s a very busy spot because of the old bus stand being right there. There are always people moving around outside, and it can get quite loud with the buses coming and going. Inside, we focus on eyes. We have those big machines for checking vision and a room where we look at cataracts and things like that. The Kanherwadi neighborhood is one we’ve been part of for a good while. People come in when they can’t see the signs on the road or when their glasses break. We have a small area where we show people different frames, though we don't have thousands of them. The building, Nirman Inspire, is relatively easy to spot once you get to the intersection. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses on the equipment because fingerprints get on everything. Sometimes the waiting room gets really packed, and people have to stand near the door. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some posters about eye health on the walls. It’s a straightforward place where the main goal is just to help folks see a bit better before they head back to the bus stand. We usually finish up in the evening when the bus traffic starts to slow down a little.
