Asher Maternity Hospital

The Asher Maternity Hospital is located on Dindori Road. We are right in the Panchwati area, not far from the Mahalaxmi Theater. If you hear the movies playing loudly in the evening, you know you are close to us. The hospital stays open all hours because you never know when a baby is going to decide to arrive. It can be very quiet at three in the morning, but then suddenly everything gets very busy. Dindori Road is usually packed with cars and people going about their business. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place that has seen a lot of families come through over time. There is a little area where people wait, often looking nervous or excited. We have some wooden benches that have been there for years and they are still holding up. The walls in the hallways could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time dealing with patients instead of decorating. You can smell the incense from the little temple nearby sometimes when the wind blows right. Panchwati is a lively neighborhood to be in. We get a lot of local people who live within walking distance. Sometimes the theater crowds make parking a bit of a headache on the weekends. We just manage the best we can. Asher Maternity Hospital is just a local spot for mothers and their new little ones to get what they need.
