Artist Husain

Artist Husain is located at No. 385/386A in the New Ward area, specifically at Badar Ka Bada. This is where the creative work happens every day. It is not a sterile studio or a high-end gallery with white walls. Instead, it is a living space filled with paint, brushes, and whatever project is currently being worked on. The address at Badar Ka Bada has been the base for quite some time now. Being in the New Ward means we are part of the local fabric of the neighborhood. There is usually some noise from the street, and neighbors might be chatting nearby, but it all becomes part of the background when the work starts. The space is a bit cramped because of all the canvases and supplies piled up, but that is how an artist’s workspace usually looks. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations for the shop itself. The focus is always on the art being created on the easels. Sometimes the smell of oil paint or turpentine is quite strong, but you get used to it after a few minutes. It is a simple life here, focused on making things one piece at a time. If you find yourself in Badar Ka Bada, you might see us through the door. We aren't big on formal meetings; it’s just about the art and the daily effort put into it at No. 385/386A. We just keep working until the light fades away in the evening.
