Arogyachintan Foundation

Arogyachintan Foundation is based in Nashik, specifically in Shivajinagar. We operate out of the Viram Vyankatesh Society. Nashik is a beautiful city, and Shivajinagar is a decent place to be. We focus on health, which is what "Arogya" stands for. It’s not a hospital or a clinic, but more of a place where we think about and plan how to make people healthier in their daily lives. We are just a small group of folks who think that health shouldn't be so complicated. Our office is simple, with a few desks and a lot of passion for what we do. We aren't doctors, but we work with the community to share better habits and information. Living in Nashik, we have access to good weather and fresh produce, and we try to encourage people to use those things. We don't have a professional spokesperson or a fancy brand. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because they are. Sometimes we hold small meetings in the society common area or just chat with people on the street. It’s a very grassroots way of doing things. We don't have all the answers, but we try to find them together with the people here. It’s practical, everyday work that doesn't need a lot of hype to be important for our community's future.
