Our small office, APPASAHEB GAYKAWAD URBAN MALTICITY NIDHI LIMITED, is situated at House Number 327 in Jadhav Sankul, Nashik. It’s a residential neighborhood, which we like because it keeps us close to the people we are actually helping. We started this because we saw a need for a place where regular people could put their savings without feeling intimidated by big banks. The office is basically just a room where we have our desks and some files. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. It’s just a couple of us who are good with numbers and want to do something useful for the Jadhav Sankul area. People stop by after work or while they are out running errands. We talk about the weather, the local news, and then we get down to the business of deposits and withdrawals. It’s a slow and steady process. Sometimes we have to explain the same thing three times, but that’s okay because that’s part of the job. Nashik is growing fast, but in our little corner, we try to keep things simple and personal. We just want to make sure the accounts are right and that people feel comfortable coming through our door. It’s not much, but it’s honest work that helps the neighborhood. We stay late some nights to finish the ledger, but it’s worth it to see the community growing and saving together.
