Ankit Metal Art

Ankit Metal Art is located at No. 20 13 Suvarna Laghu Udyog in the MIDC area. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of activity around us. We work with all kinds of metal here. You can hear the sounds of cutting and hammering from the street usually. It’s not a quiet job by any means. We make different things out of metal, sometimes for decoration and sometimes for more practical uses. The workshop is full of scraps and sheets of steel and aluminum. We have a few machines that help us bend and shape the pieces. It gets hot in the summer because of the welding and the sun hitting the roof. We wear our work gear and just get on with it. It’s a small team of us. We aren't doing mass production like some of the bigger factories nearby. We spend quite a bit of time on each piece we work on. Sometimes things don’t turn out right the first time and we have to start over. That’s just how it goes with metal art. We’ve been at this spot in Suvarna Laghu Udyog for a while. People come to us when they want something specific made that they can’t find in a regular store. We don’t have a sales team. We just show people what we’ve finished and go from there. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
