Anand Battery Industries

Anand Battery Industries is situated out at Plot No. 90/91 in Vilholi. We are near the Jain Temple, which is a quiet and peaceful landmark compared to the heavy work we do here. Our space is spread across two plots, 90 and 91, because batteries take up a lot of room and they are heavy to move around. We deal with lead and acid and all the parts that go into making a battery work. The smell of the workshop is something you get used to after a while. It’s a bit out of the main city, so things move at a slightly different pace here in Vilholi. We have a lot of space for the trucks to come in and load up the finished products. The day usually starts with checking the inventory and making sure the assembly area is ready to go. It’s physically demanding work, lifting the heavy casings and making sure everything is sealed up right. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the factory floor and a small area where we keep the paperwork. Being near the temple, we sometimes hear the bells in the morning, which is a nice contrast to the sounds of the battery chargers and tools. We’ve been here at Sr. No. 167/169 for a long time, just doing our thing and making sure the batteries are ready for whoever needs them. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time.
