Alcomp (Nashik) Systems Pvt.Ltd. is based in the basement of Charudutta Chambers, specifically at number 2. Being in a basement has its ups and downs, but it’s mostly good because it stays quite cool even when the sun is beating down on Nashik. We’ve got our systems set up down here and it’s a quiet place to get things done. We work on various computer systems and hardware, so there are usually a few machines taken apart on the workbenches. It can look a bit cluttered with all the wires and spare parts lying around, but we have a system for where everything goes. Charudutta Chambers is a well-known building, so it’s not too hard for people to find us once they get inside. We aren't into the whole corporate image thing with suits and ties. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for working on electronics. Sometimes we have to deal with some tricky technical issues that take all day to solve, but we don't mind the challenge. We just sit there with our tea and work through the problems one by one. It’s a steady kind of life. We like being in this part of town and we’ve made a lot of friends in the other offices nearby. It’s just us doing our thing in the basement, trying to keep the systems running for everyone who needs them.
