Our place is at No. 4, Sai Palace, right across from Durga Garden on Nasik Road. If you know the area, it’s a pretty easy spot to find. Ace Polybond isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a functional office and a small storage space where we handle all our bonding agents and adhesives. The air always has a bit of a chemical scent to it, which we’ve mostly stopped noticing after all these years. We spend a lot of time on the phone with manufacturers and people who need specific types of glue for their projects. The office itself is quite small. We have a couple of desks that are piled high with catalogs and sample jars. Sometimes a jar leaks a little and everything gets sticky, which is always a bit of a mess to clean up. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the local area. Nasik Road gets quite hot, so the afternoon slump is real, but we keep going with plenty of water and the occasional snack from the shop downstairs. We don't put on any acts here. When people come in, they see us as we are—just a few folks trying to keep the business running smoothly. We handle the orders as they come in and try to make sure nothing sits on the shelf for too long. It's a simple operation and we like it that way.
