We are tucked away in Shop No 23 at Rajan Complex. If you know the Datta Mandir Circle area, you know how busy it gets around here. Nashik Road always has something going on. Our little clinic is mostly about glasses and contact lenses. We have shelves lined with frames, some newer ones and some that have been there for a bit. It is not a giant showroom, just a practical space where people come to get their eyes checked. Sometimes the eye testing machine acts a bit slow, but it gets the job done accurately for everyone. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because fingerprints get everywhere. Most of our customers are locals who live near Datta Mandir Road. They stop in while they are out doing their other errands. It is a small team here, just a couple of us usually. We do not use a lot of fancy words or try to sell you stuff you do not need. If your vision is blurry, we try to fix that. The lighting in the shop is quite bright so everyone can see the frames clearly in the mirror. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next person to come in. It is a quiet routine for the most part, except when the circle outside gets jammed with traffic. We like being part of this little corner of Nashik. It feels like home to us after all these years. We just keep the shop running as best as we can every single day.
