Modern Road Makers Private Ltd.

We are based in Narwana, right near the taxi stand. It’s a loud spot with all the drivers and people coming through Jind. Our office for Modern Road Makers is pretty simple. We spend most of our time out on the roads anyway, so we don’t need much. There’s usually a bit of dust on the desks from the street outside. We keep our gear stored nearby and head out early in the morning. Being close to the taxi stand is actually helpful for getting around or finding someone to run an errand. The building isn't much to look at, but it’s where we do our planning and keep our records. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People in town know who we are and where to find us. We’ve been working on the local infrastructure for a while now. It’s tough work, especially when the sun is beating down on the asphalt. We just put our heads down and get it done. Sometimes the equipment acts up or the materials are late arriving, but we fix it and keep moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. We like being in Narwana. It’s home for us. We just try to keep the projects on track and deal with the weather as it comes. It's a straightforward life. We usually end the day with some tea and talk about what needs doing tomorrow before heading home.
