The office is at number 37 in Lajpat Rai Market. If you know the area, it is right there near Vishvakarma Chowk where things stay busy most of the day. We have been here for a good while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits the desks and the equipment we use for the advertising work. Most mornings start with opening up the shutters and dusting off the counters because the market gets quite a bit of dust from all the traffic passing through the chowk. There is always noise from the street outside, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We handle a lot of different orders for people in the neighborhood. Some days are slow and we just sit around checking the machines, and other days it feels like everyone wants something done at the same time. The walls are covered with some old samples and a few calendars from previous years that we never really took down. It is a simple place. We don't have fancy furniture or a big waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who stops by to discuss a job. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we have to wait it out, which is just how things go around here. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure the signs and prints look okay before they go out the door.
