Kabra Memorial Public School

Our school is situated on Pipariya Road here in Narsinghpur. It’s a familiar spot for most people in town. We have a fairly simple setup. The building is painted in plain colors and has been standing for many years. We have a gate that stays open during the day while the kids are inside. The classrooms are basic with enough space for the benches and the teacher's desk. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and getting the day started. The noise of the students playing during recess is something we are all used to. It can get quite loud, but it’s a good sound. We have a few trees around the boundary that give some shade during the hotter months. The office is where all the paperwork happens, and it’s usually cluttered with files and stationary. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local school serving the community. Some of us have been working here since the beginning, so we know the routines by heart. The water cooler is a popular spot in the afternoons. We make sure the blackboards are clean for the next day before we leave. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life at Kabra Memorial. We just focus on the classes and making sure the students are safe. The parents often stop by for a quick word after the final bell rings.
