Yakamma Travels

We run Yakamma Travels from our place in Laluthanda. Our address is 9-94, and we are right near Akulathanda in the Itikalapally village area. It is a small travel setup, mostly just us and our vehicles. Driving around these roads can be tiring, but it is what we do. We take people where they need to go, whether it is to the city or just to another village nearby. The cars need a lot of looking after because the roads are not always the best. I spend a lot of my time washing the cars and checking the tires. Sometimes customers call us late at night for an emergency trip, and we have to get up and go. It is not a nine-to-five job at all. We know all the shortcuts and the best ways to get around the traffic. Being in a thanda means we are part of a close community. Most of our passengers are people we have known for years. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just have our phone number or they come to the house to ask if we are free. It is a simple business, but it keeps us busy every day of the week. We just try to keep the car running smooth and get people there safely.
