Swamy Farming

My name is Swamy and I run this farming business out of H. No -4-96/5 in Rangampally. We are located in the Laknepally area of Narsampet. It is mostly just me and a few others working the land around here. Farming isn't an easy job, especially with the heat we get in Narsampet, but we have been at it for years. Our house is the center of everything we do. We store our supplies there and use the yard for sorting through the harvest. Most days start very early, and we do not finish until it is dark. We grow a few different things depending on what the soil can handle. There are not any big corporate offices or fancy equipment here. We use what we have and try to make the most of it. People in Rangampally know us well, and we often help each other out when someone’s crop is ready for picking. It is a tight community. We sell what we can to the local traders. Sometimes the prices are good and sometimes they are not, but that is just how farming goes. We do not have much time for anything else besides the fields and the livestock. It is a lot of manual labor and getting our hands dirty every single day. That is just the way it has always been for us at 4-96/5.
