Sundaraiah Dairy Farm

Our farm is Sundaraiah Dairy Farm and we are located at H. No -1-42 in Bhanjipet. It is a basic setup with plenty of space for the animals. We spend our whole lives around the cows and the fields. The smell of hay and manure is just part of the everyday life for us here. We wake up when the birds start chirping to start the first milking. It is a slow process but you cannot rush it. Bhanjipet is a nice enough place but the work is never finished. Once the milking is done we have to clean the sheds and feed everyone. We use old buckets and shovels that have seen better days. There is no such thing as a weekend on a dairy farm. If it is raining we are out in the mud and if it is hot we are sweating in the sun. We have a small porch where we sit for a few minutes in the evening to watch the sun go down over the fields. We do not have any big marketing plans or fancy logos on our gate. It is just the house number and our name on a small board. Most of our neighbors are also working the land so we all help each other out when a tractor breaks down. It is a tough life but it is peaceful in its own way. We just keep doing what we know how to do every morning.
