Rajanikumar Dairy Form

Life here at Rajanikumar Dairy Form starts very early, usually way before the sun even comes up over the hills. We are situated out in Ramavaram, and it is mostly quiet out here compared to the noise of the town. The cows need their feeding and cleaning first thing in the morning, no matter what the weather is like. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy buckets and making sure the stalls are kept in good shape. We have our hands full for most of the daylight hours. The barn at H. No -5-95 is where we spend nearly all of our time. It is definitely not a glamorous job. You get dirty quickly and that farm smell tends to stay on your clothes even after you wash them. But we have grown to like the animals and the steady routine of the farm life. Neighbors from Laknepally often walk over to get their milk from us, and we usually end up having a quick talk about the rain or how the crops are doing this year. Sometimes the milking equipment breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it with whatever tools are in the shed. We do not have any fancy office or a website. We have just been doing this for a long time. The seasons change but the cows still need us every day. There is always a fence that needs mending or a gate that is sticking.
