Narsaiah Tent House

If you go to Nagurlapally in the Madannapet area of Narsampet, you will find Narsaiah Tent House at H. No -2-222. Our business is mostly about lugging heavy things around and making sure they stay upright. We have piles of colorful cloth, some of it a bit faded from the sun, and rows of chairs that we keep stacked in the shed. When someone in the village has a function, they come over to talk to us about what they need for their yard or the local ground. We spend a lot of time tieing knots and making sure the frames for the tents are sturdy enough. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the day. The weather can be a problem; if it rains, we have to hurry to make sure everything stays dry. We don’t use any computers for our bookings, just a simple notebook where we write down the dates and names. It’s a practical business that keeps us moving. We’ve been in this spot for years, and most people in Narsampet know us by name. Our truck is often seen driving through the narrow streets loaded with poles and decorations. It isn't glamorous work, but it's essential for all the gatherings that happen around here. We just do our part and move on to the next job. There is always another event coming up soon in the village.
