Sri Balaji Goods Transport is based in Vijanagar Colony in Narnoor. It’s a location that makes sense for us because we’re close to the main roads where the trucks move through. Our office is a straightforward place, mostly just a couple of desks, some chairs for the drivers to rest, and piles of logbooks. We spend a lot of time waiting for calls and tracking where our vehicles are at any given moment. The dust from the road is a constant presence, and we’ve given up on keeping the floor perfectly clean. We’re not a huge multinational company with a glossy brochure. We’re just a group of people who understand how to move goods from one place to another without a lot of drama. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers, checking engine oil, and making sure the paperwork is in order for the next trip. Narnoor is a decent place to work, even if it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. We often sit outside in the shade during the slower hours, watching the traffic go by. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we know the routes around here like the back of our hands. It’s a tough business sometimes, with delays and mechanical issues, but we take it as it comes. We just try to keep our word and get the loads delivered when we say we will.
