Saraswati Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School

Saraswati Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School is located out in Barkoda, near Narnaul. We sit in the 123001 area. It is a senior secondary school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their finals and whatever comes next for them. The location in Barkoda is a bit removed from the main city rush of Narnaul, which is actually quite nice for the students. Our building is a traditional one with thick walls. We have enough classrooms to fit everyone, though it can get a bit crowded on exam days when everyone is here at once. We are not about fancy labels or corporate slogans. We are just a local school that has been around for the people of this district. The staff here are mostly locals themselves who understand the community. We know the families and we know the kids. Every morning starts with the usual routine of getting everyone into their seats and starting the register. We spend our days going through the syllabus and making sure the basic facilities are functional. It is a very practical way of running things. Nothing is overly polished here; we just focus on the task at hand. The playground sees a lot of action during the recess, and the corridors are usually full of talk. It is a lively place, but we keep it grounded. We just provide a place for education.
