Valia Institute Of Technology is located out in the Valia area of the Bharuch district in Gujarat. Our campus is in a place called Sodgam, which is quite a bit away from the big city noise. It’s a rural setting, so things are a lot quieter here than they would be in Ahmedabad or Surat. We have students coming in from the surrounding towns and villages to learn about technology and engineering. The atmosphere is very practical and down-to-earth. We don’t have the massive glass libraries you see on TV; we have classrooms, labs, and a lot of hard-working people. The weather in Bharuch can be quite harsh with the heat, so the campus can get a bit dusty and hot during the day. We spend our time teaching and helping the students get through their courses. It’s a community-focused kind of place where everyone knows each other. The faculty and staff are mostly locals or people who have moved here specifically for the institute. Life moves at a different pace in Sodgam. We deal with the usual school stuff like schedules, exams, and keeping the equipment running. It’s an honest place where the focus is just on the education and nothing else. There aren't any fancy cafes nearby, just the local canteen and a few shops in the village. It’s a basic, functional institute that serves its purpose for the people living in this part of Gujarat.
