You can find Jay Ambe Engineering Works at J-184 / 3 in Gidc, 2nd Phase. We are right near the Balaji Dharam Kanta, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The shop is basically a collection of lathes and drills and a lot of metal shavings on the floor. We do a lot of basic machining and repair jobs for the other businesses around Gidc. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the people who walk through our door. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be more than a neighborhood machine shop. The guys working here have been doing this for years, so they know the sounds the machines make when something is slightly off. We keep the grease guns handy and the lights on late when there’s a rush. It isn't always pretty work, but it's necessary. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just life in an industrial area. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we can do. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and our customers.
