About Ideal Engineering Works – Engineering in Narmada
Our workshop is located in the 2nd Phase of the GIDC at shed L-408. It is a plain industrial shed, much like the others around it. Inside, the floor is usually covered with metal shavings and a bit of oil. We do engineering work, which mostly involves fixing broken parts or making new ones from scratch for other local businesses. It is a lot of hands-on work with drills, grinders, and welding gear. We don't have a reception area or a fancy office. If you come by, you’ll likely find us at the back, busy with a machine. We have been at this location for quite a few years now. The GIDC can be a tough environment, especially when it’s hot, but we’ve grown used to the noise and the heat of the workshop. We have a small crew of workers who are very good with their hands. We don’t really follow a rigid corporate schedule; we just stay until the repairs are finished. Sometimes that means we are here much later than we expected. We don’t do any marketing at all. Most of our work comes from word of mouth from other people in the industrial estate. We just focus on doing a solid job so that whatever we fix stays fixed. It is practical work for people who need things done right. We enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to fix something that seems broken.
