About Antique Tiles – Building & Construction Material in Naridana
We are located right near Amarjyoti Palace at Shop Number 2 and 3. Being beside Choudhary Emporium makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic on the road gets a bit heavy in the afternoons. The shop is filled with heavy slabs and boxes of ceramic tiles. We spend a good chunk of our day lifting things, which is why my back usually hurts by five o'clock. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything, it’s just the nature of working with tiles and stone. We have samples laid out on the floor so people can see how they look in the light. Sometimes customers spend hours trying to decide between two shades of grey that look exactly the same to me. We just let them take their time. The back area is a bit cluttered with broken pieces and old crates. We try to keep it tidy, but when a new shipment comes in, it’s just chaos for a few hours. The neighborhood is okay, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a practical business, nothing fancy about it. We just provide what people need for their floors and walls. Most of our regulars are local builders or families who are finally fixing up their bathrooms or kitchens. It’s a lot of heavy work, but it feels good to see a finished project. We just keep plugging away at it here near the palace. The days are long but we stay busy.
