Bsp Senior Secondary School

Our school is located in Bhilai, which is in the Kanker area. It’s a fairly large building that’s been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. We have students coming in from all the nearby blocks. The school day starts early, and you can hear the bells ringing throughout the street. We don't have a massive budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly covered with student work and old charts. It feels like a real school, with the smell of chalk and the sound of desks scraping on the floor. The playground is a bit uneven, but the kids don't care when they’re out there playing. We have a lot of meetings about things like bus schedules and broken windows. It’s just the usual stuff you deal with when you’re running a place like this. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and books. We don't try to sound corporate because we aren't. We are just a bunch of people working in a school in Chhattisgarh. Sometimes it gets very hot in the afternoons, and the ceiling fans have to work overtime. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time. It’s a straightforward life here. People know us, and we know them, and that’s how it’s been for years. We've seen many generations grow up and move on from here, which is always a bit strange to think about when you've been in the same building for so long.
