K R K SILKS PRIVATE LIMITED

We’ve been over here in Chowk Bazar for a while now. Narayanapet is a small place but everyone knows where the main market is. K R K Silks is located right at number 1-1-77/1. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular shop where we keep our silk stocks. Most days start with opening up the shutters and dusting off the counters because the bazaar gets quite a bit of dust from the road. We spend most of our time talking to people who come in looking for something specific. It gets pretty hot in Mahbubnagar during the summer months, so the fans are always going. We don’t have any big corporate speeches to give. We just handle the fabric, check the quality, and make sure the accounts are right. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street comes by and we take a break. It's a simple life running a business here. There are piles of silk everywhere and we try to keep things organized, but on busy days it gets a bit messy. That's just how it goes when you're working with your hands and dealing with people face to face. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get through the day's work and make sure the orders are ready for whoever is coming to pick them up later. It’s a lot of folding and packing, but it keeps us busy.
