Vimala Saree Business

We’ve been running this saree business right out of our house here in Sc Colony for a good while now. The address is H No 2-4/2, if you’re looking for us in Puttapaka Narayanpur. It’s a quiet spot, really. Mostly, it’s just us folding things, keeping the shelves neat, and talking to the people who walk in. The light in the front room is pretty good in the mornings for showing the colors. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood run past the door and it gets a bit noisy, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we keep the stock. People come by, they look at what we have, and we have a tea or just chat about the weather. It takes a lot of time to keep track of everything, especially when new bundles arrive and we have to find space on the racks. My hands are usually a bit tired by the end of the day from moving the fabric around. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles get a bit high. It’s a small operation, just us and the sarees. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up in the morning and stay until it gets dark. Most of the folks in Puttapaka know where we are tucked away in the colony.
