Anjamma Saree Business

Anjamma Saree Business is located at 2-89 in the Sc Colony of Puttapaka, Narayanpur. It is a small place where we keep all the different sarees we have for sale. People from the colony and the nearby areas usually just walk in to see what is new. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a home-style setup. We spend our days folding and organizing the different fabrics. Some are simple cottons for everyday wear and others have more work on them for special days. Puttapaka is known for its weaving, so there is always talk about threads and patterns around here. We try to have a good variety so people find something they like. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the neighbors while waiting for customers. It's a slow pace of life, but it suits us. The colors are the best part of the job, seeing all the bright reds and greens stacked up on the shelves. We don't do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from one person to another. If someone needs a saree for a wedding or just a gift, they know to come by 2-89. It’s just a small business run by the family. We keep things tidy and hope for a decent day of sales. It is nice to see someone walk away happy with a new cloth.
