Sateesh Granites

If you head down to Jogipeta Street in Adivarapu Peta, you’ll find us at number 23-2-1/23. Sateesh Granites is basically just a local yard where we keep our stock. It isn't a huge place, but we managed to fit a lot of granite in here somehow. The street can be a little narrow, so when the big trucks come in to drop off the slabs, it’s a bit of a squeeze. We’ve had to get good at maneuvering things. Most days it’s just me and a couple of helpers moving stone around. We get a lot of dust on our clothes by the afternoon. It’s just part of the job. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit just to see what’s new or to ask about prices for their home projects. We don’t have a secretary or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on our trousers and picks it up. Adivarapu Peta is a busy little area and we’ve been here long enough that most of the local builders know where to find us. We keep the stone out in the open mostly. You can see the grain and the colors better in the natural light anyway. It’s nothing fancy, just a straightforward shop on Jogipeta Street where we work hard and hope for good weather so the yard doesn't get too muddy when we are trying to load the customer orders.
