Auarora Exports

Over in Narasapur, in the West Godavari District, our place Auarora Exports is situated on Jakkam Vari Street. The address is 14-3-3, and it’s a typical street in this part of town. The weather here is almost always warm, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can. We are involved in the export side of things, which has a long history in this region. Most of our work involves checking the quality of items before they get packed into crates. It’s a lot of manual work and we have to be very careful with the details. The street outside is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything else has to stop. We know all the people who live nearby, and it’s a very close-knit community. We don't have a fancy showroom because we don't really sell to the public here. It’s more of a warehouse and checking station. We have some wooden tables where we lay everything out under the lights. My family has been in this area for a long time, so we feel very connected to the land and the people. We just go about our business day by day. It’s not a fast-paced life like in the big cities, but there is always plenty to do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to finish.
