Our business is located at 56-8 on Rashtra Pati Road in Deviramanahalli. It’s a busy road with a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The shop has been here for quite some time, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We have large metal shutters that we roll up every morning at eight. Inside, the space is filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We keep all sorts of things in stock, and sometimes it takes us a few minutes to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We don't use any high-tech systems; we mostly rely on our memory and a few handwritten lists pinned to the wall. The floor is made of smooth stone that stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. There is a small ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it does its job. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the people who drop by. It’s not just about the items we sell; it’s about the people in the neighborhood. We handle the deliveries ourselves, loading and unloading the boxes when the trucks pull up at the curb. It can be tiring for the back, but it's part of the routine. We close up when the sun goes down, making sure everything is locked tight. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, without any extra fuss or complicated rules.
