Jeewan Sea Foods

Out here in Kuttapuly, things move at a slightly different pace. Jeewan Sea Foods is located at No: 19/36 right on Church Street. You can usually tell you're getting close by the smell of the sea and the general vibe of the area. We aren't a massive factory or anything like that. It's just a local spot where we handle the daily catch and make sure everything is sorted out properly. The building itself is pretty simple, just enough to keep the stock cold and the workspace clean. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of getting things from the water to where they need to go. It’s hard work and the hours can be a bit strange depending on when the boats come in, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Church Street is a nice place to be based, and we know most of the people who live and work around here. We don't have a big sales team or a fancy website. Most people just know to come to us because we’ve been here and we do the job right. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. There’s always something that needs cleaning or a delivery that needs to be checked. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving.
