Jb Stones

Our yard is at 2/1/178 in Belum Singavaram, out in the Kolimigundla area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the stones are. We have a lot of space, which is good because we have a lot of heavy material sitting around. It’s a very practical environment. Not much in the way of decor or comforts. We spend our time checking the blocks that come in and seeing how they look once they're cut. The sun is really strong out here in Kolimigundla, so we spend a lot of time under the tin roof when we can. We’ve been operating from this address for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell stone. People come out here when they need a lot of material for a big project. We load up the trucks and send them on their way. The ground is rocky and uneven, so you have to be careful when you’re driving the forklift. It’s a loud place when the machines are running, but it’s quiet when everyone goes home. We don't have a showroom. You just walk through the stacks and pick what looks right for your project. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just worry about the stock and the weather, mostly.
