Chand Basha Metals

My name is Chand Basha and I’ve been running this metal shop at Kalpana Center for quite a while now. We are located right at door number 22/49 on Bayarmal Street. It's a busy spot but we like it here. People come by looking for different types of metal pieces, scrap, or maybe something for a small construction job they're doing at home. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers dealing with the inventory. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy sheets and pipes around so the shop stays organized. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with these materials every day. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk where I sit and talk to customers who walk in. If you know where Kalpana Center is, you can’t really miss us. We try to keep things simple. Most of our regulars are from the neighborhood or nearby areas who’ve known us for years. I started this place because I knew a bit about metals and wanted a steady way to earn a living. It’s not a huge operation but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just do our work and try to help people find the specific bits of metal they need for whatever project they have going on.
