Our academy is located near the Polytechnic College Road in Nandyal. It’s a good spot because we get a lot of students coming by between their classes. We focus on computer training, so the sound of clicking keyboards is pretty much the background noise of our lives here. We have a bunch of systems set up in our rooms. It’s nothing fancy, just good working computers for people to practice on. Kurnool can get really hot, so we try to keep the fans going all day while students are working on their assignments. We started this because we realized how many people need basic computer skills these days to get any kind of decent work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our students come to us because their friends told them we actually sit down and show them how to use the software. We spend a lot of time explaining the same things over and over, but we don't mind it. It’s part of the job. We have seen a lot of people go from not knowing how to turn a PC on to being quite good at typing and data entry. It makes us feel like we are doing something useful with our time. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s a comfortable place for people to come and learn without feeling intimidated. We just focus on the computers.
