We are located in a place called Navapur, which is in the Nandurbar district. It is a bit far from the big cities, but we like it here. Our address is just At Post - Navapur, which tells you how things are in this part of Maharashtra. We don't have big landmarks or skyscraper offices. Tatiya Textiles is a local operation through and through. We work with the resources we have and focus on the textile needs of our area. The pace of life in Nandurbar is a bit slower than in Mumbai or Pune, and our business reflects that. We take things one day at a time. Most of our workers live nearby, so they walk or cycle to the unit. We deal with various fabrics and try to keep our costs down so we can stay in business. It isn't always easy because getting supplies delivered out here can take a long time. We have to plan everything weeks in advance. There are no fancy meetings or corporate events here. It’s just us, the machines, and the fabric. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know where to find us. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a quiet town. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a few hours, but we just use that time to organize the shop. It is just the reality of working here.
